Clinical Social Worker

As a Clinical Primary Therapist, you will provide outpatient mental and behavioral health services for clients ages 5 and up. You’ll help clients and families navigate recovery and wellness through individualized treatment planning, counseling, and crisis support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions.
• Coordinating care with multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Documenting clinical care with accuracy and timeliness.
• Participating in an on-call rotation (a few times per month) for emergency department crisis evaluations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education:
• Minimum: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Nursing, Art Therapy, or Psychology.
• Preferred: PhD.
• Licensure:
• Current NYS license in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Nursing, or Creative Arts Therapy.
• Valid NYS driver’s license (in good standing).
• BLS certification (completed during orientation).
• CPI certification (within 90 days of hire).
• Experience:
• Minimum: 1 year in a mental health or hospital setting.
• Preferred: 3+ years in a mental health setting.
