Clinical Supervisor, Housing Clinicians

SCHEDULE:  40 hours Monday – Friday, 8-4:30pm 

Pays $77,417.60 annually DOE

LOCATION:  3368 Washington St. Jamaica Plain, MA  

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:  

The Clinical Supervisor, Housing Clinicians, leads and supports the Housing Clinicians within the Housing Clinical Services (HCS) department. The Housing Clinician team is made up of three (3) mobile Housing Clinicians and three (3) site-based Housing Clinicians. The Housing Clinicians provide ongoing clinical support to folx living within Pine Street Inn’s Permanent Supportive Housing. Services provided include ongoing therapy, case conferencing, stabilization services, care coordination with outside providers, and collaboration with the (HCS) Crisis Team. The Clinical Supervisor, Housing Clinicians role will oversee the Housing Clinicians in collaboration with the Housing Support Services portfolio, collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor, Crisis role, and develop programming for the housing clinician team. 

The Clinical Supervisor, Housing Clinicians will triage ongoing clinical referrals as received by the Supportive Housing Department, to best promote behavioral health stability within housing. The Clinical Supervisor, Housing Clinicians will encourage the implementation of appropriate evidence-based practice, support in the auditing of clinical documentation, and assist in tenant meetings/collaboration when necessary. In addition, the Clinical Supervisor, Housing Clinicians assists the Associate Director, Housing Clinicians in the development and completion of mandated reports and grant/funders, as well as developing and maintaining positive relationships with partner agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED: 

• Licensed in      Massachusetts as a LICSW, LMHC, or Clinical Psychologist, or eligible for independent      licensure upon hire with license attained within the first 6 months of      employment.

  REQUIRED: 

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field (i.e. social work, clinical psychology, education, nursing)

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED: 

• Minimum of two (2) years clinical supervisory experience 
• Experience working with individuals experiencing substance abuse, mental illness, trauma, homelessness and/or other complex disorders.  
• Ability to conduct clinical assessments and diagnosis for mental health and substance use disorders, as well as providing treatment recommendations.
• Clinical skills and competence to offer education around substance use, trauma, co-occurring disorders, mental illness diagnoses, and emotional and mental health generally
• Experience in community based social services.
• Experience in data gathering, documentation, reporting, across multiple web-based platforms. 

PREFERRED: 

• Experience working with chronically homeless, medically vulnerable individuals, with tri-morbidities (mental illness, substance abuse, medically compromised) 
• Strong commitment to the Housing First and Harm Reduction approach
• Bilingual Spanish/ English
