Job Description - Clinical Support Specialist

Description

The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) is responsible for optimizing clinical and workflow of Onera hPSG to strengthen relationships with high value accounts alongside the Director of Sales and Regional Sales Managers (RSM).  The position is responsible for set-up and execution of evaluations, customer onboarding following the execution of a contract, and expanding clinical awareness and understanding of Onera products and services. Additionally, the CSS will conduct inside sales activities to generate warm leads for sales team to follow-up on. This role combines clinical expertise, customer engagement, workflow optimization, and commercial support to ensure successful implementation and expansion of Onera solutions. The CSS acts as a trusted clinical resource for customers while supporting broader commercial growth initiatives.

Requirements
  • Coordinate and execute product evaluations, demonstrations, and customer onboarding activities to support successful clinical adoption and utilization of Onera solutions.  
  • Serve as the primary clinical resource for customers during implementation, training, workflow optimization, and ongoing support activities.  
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership and Regional Sales Managers to support strategic account development and utilization growth within targeted accounts.  
  • Deliver clinical education and product training to physicians, sleep technologists, clinicians, and administrative staff.  
  • Support customer success initiatives by identifying workflow challenges and collaborating cross-functionally to develop effective solutions.  
  • Conduct outbound customer engagement and follow-up activities related to inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, and targeted commercial initiatives.  
  • Maintain expertise in sleep medicine trends, home sleep diagnostics, reimbursement developments, and competitive technologies.  
  • Assist with quarterly business reviews, utilization assessments, and customer performance discussions.  
  • Provide support at conferences, trade shows, educational programs, and customer events.  
  • Maintain timely documentation of customer interactions, evaluations, implementation activities, and follow-up items within CRM and internal systems.  
  • Communicate customer feedback, market intelligence, competitive insights, and training needs to internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Product teams.  
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management. 


Benefits
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Respiratory Care, Biological Sciences, or related healthcare discipline required.  
  • RPSGT credential required.  
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical support, clinical education, or customer-facing experience within medical devices, diagnostics, or sleep medicine.  
  • Prior experience in sleep diagnostics, respiratory care, cardiovascular diagnostics, or related healthcare technology preferred.  
  • Experience supporting large health systems, IDNs, VA/government accounts, or complex clinical implementations preferred.  
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.  
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.  
  • Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic and growth-oriented
