Are you a compassionate, skilled LPN or RN with a heart for serving individuals with developmental and complex medical needs? We’re seeking a full-time Clinical Support Nurse to provide overnight care and clinical oversight in a group home setting. This vital position focuses on ensuring quality care, safety, and continuity throughout the night—without supervisory duties.

🌙 Position Details

• Title: Clinical Support Nurse – Night Shift


• Location: Assigned Group Home(s) – Tampa & Surrounding Areas


• Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Rotating Weekends Required)


• Job Type: Full-Time


• Reports To: Assistant Director of Nursing

🔑 Key Responsibilities

✅ Overnight Clinical Oversight

• Act as the on-site clinical contact across group homes during night shifts


• Respond to urgent medical needs and support direct care staff


• Ensure proper execution and documentation of care plans


• Conduct medication reviews and cart audits


• Uphold infection control and safety standards

✅ Training & Quality Compliance

• Reinforce hygiene, safety, and documentation protocols


• Educate overnight staff on health plans and clinical procedures


• Monitor adherence to APD, DCF, FDOH, and OSHA regulations


• Support ongoing infection prevention measures

✅ Communication & Documentation

• Ensure seamless handoffs with day shift clinical teams


• Assist with charting, medication logs, and audit readiness


• Report incidents or concerns in accordance with policy


• Participate in quality reviews and maintain accurate records

📋 What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Active Florida LPN or RN license


• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)


• Minimum 3 years of clinical leadership or advanced floor experience


• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities


• Comfortable providing care for ventilator, trach, or G-tube dependent individuals


• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills


• Reliable transportation with flexibility to visit assigned group homes

Preferred:

• Previous experience in group home, long-term care, or behavioral health settings


• Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs and Florida-specific healthcare regulations

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 – $37.00 (Based on experience & license type)
