Job Description - Clinical Team Manager, Adult Services

Description

Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for a Clinical Team Manager to clinically and administratively manage teams within the Community Support Services Department. Responsible for the Team’s performance on KPI’s, including productivity expectations and paperwork completion. Oversees the professional development of direct reports. Expands Evidence Based Clinical Practices within the department, spearheads and champions quality initiatives, and refines clinical practice guidelines, processes, and procedures within the department.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Provides weekly one (1) hour individual supervision to master's level therapists (four (4) to six (6) individuals). Completes all documentation of the supervision sessions in a timely manner
  • Prepares for and facilitates weekly team meeting (1 hr), weekly Therapist meeting (1 hr) weekly Leadership Meeting (1 hr), weekly Community Based Services (CBS) staff meeting (1 hr), and Community Support Services (CSS) department meeting (1.5 hr every other month) 
  • Provides supervisory consult to team members as needed as well as ad hoc support to staff for crisis management including guidance around completing IEA’s and CD revocations. Also provides supplemental counseling to members of clients’ support systems (e.g., family members)
  • Provides a minimum of six (6) hours per week of psychotherapy for individuals, groups, and/or families, as well as case management services
  • Completes treatment plans, Adult Needs and Strength Assessments (ANSA) and Case Management Care Plans (CMCP) by the required due date listed in EMR and supports and monitors staff doing the same
  • Completes all 6-month reviews within a two (2) week window at the end of each review period, and completes all other documentation within three (3) business days (with the first day being the dates of service/completion) and supports and monitors staff doing the same 
  • If working a hybrid schedule, maintains a standard schedule of working on site at a GNMH location 3 days (24 hours) a week 
  • Provides internship and/or licensure supervision, as appropriate based on credentials
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Licensed or licensure eligible in NH
  • 3 to 5 years related work experience
  • Familiarity with community resources
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to coach / teach effectively
  • Ability to lead and guide staff. Flexible, willing to learn, and anticipates the needs of self and staff 
  • Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments
  • Ability to problem solve and exercise judgment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Email, Word, EXCEL)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy
