Summary:

We are currently hiring for the position of IC Territory Supervisor in the Atlanta GA area. This position is responsible for territory oversight of specified Infusion Centers, as well as leading a specific IC clinic team to provide comprehensive care, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion and care coordination for patients and families with chronic health needs in an outpatient setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Regional Manager and Director through attending weekly meetings to discuss processes for continual improvement and efficiency.  
  • Provide IC Supervisors with direction and oversight when implementing new procedures, gathering information and feedback necessary for success of processes.
  • Assist IC Supervisors in facilitating new hire interviewing, onboarding and offboarding processes. Assist with staff management to utilize float and PRN staff in fulfilling Infusion Center territory needs
  • Provide leadership to the IC staff including developing and managing the clinic staffing plan, conducting interviews with candidates, making selection recommendations, setting objectives and goals for staff, implementing a site training and communication plan and provide on-going feedback and training to staff. Reviewing employee performance through performance evaluations and competencies. Approving timecards, PTO and other personnel administrative duties.
  • Provide patient and family centered IV infusion care. Facilitate consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among all members of the healthcare team. Incorporate the patient and family in infusion care. Serve as an advocate for patients and families.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, health professionals, health related agencies, patients and families. Work effectively with multidisciplinary team members. Promote mutual respect and trust working within a team model. Review, update and recommend relevant clinical, administrative policies, procedures and education to help assure high quality patient care.
  • Actively participate in quality initiatives. Maintain accurate and timely records and reports. Participate in patient service and program reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school. Current unrestricted board certification to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State where you practice. May substitute a degree from an Accredited Physician Assistant school with an active, unrestricted license. Must have a current BLS certification.

Experience: 2 years of experience as an NP or APN in a clinical setting required or 3+ years as a Registered Nurse with oncology, ER, ICU, and/or infusion center experience and 1-2 years of experience managing other employees. Must demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
