We’re seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide evidence-based, best-practice therapies to our clients, helping them achieve their treatment goals. This is your chance to make a difference!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Assessment and Planning: Screen and evaluate clients to plan and administer appropriate therapeutic treatments using a biopsychosocial assessment.
Therapy Services: Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, best-practice approaches (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT).
Documentation: Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including diagnostic assessments using DSM V and ASAM, consistent with agency standards and regulations.
Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
Coordination of Care: Consult with external community providers concerning treatment plans and coordinate care as required.
Progress Reports: Provide regular progress reports to courts, probation departments, families, and referral sources when applicable.
Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients and their families within the treatment program and broader community.
Supervision: May supervise interns/volunteers as needed.
Professional Development: Complete annual training to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Lead Therapist.
Education, Experience, Skills:
Must possess: Master’s Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, or Addictions)
Practicum, Internship, or post-graduate experience in behavioral health, preferably in substance use disorder treatment.
Must be willing to obtain a LCAC-A and pursue LCAC.
Must have or, within 30 days from hire, be able to obtain a current First Aid and CPR card.
Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense and handle various challenges independently.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Work Setting: Indoors, environmentally controlled; exposure to contagious diseases and potentially volatile situations.
Body Positioning: Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motions; ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Communication: Regular contact through electronic mail, in-person discussions, public speaking, telephone, and video.
