Job Description - Clinician, Team Fourteen

Job Description:

Sign on bonus up to $2400 for independently licensed clinicans (pro-rated for part time)

The Clinician provides short term individual and family therapy to youth with current or historic substance use needs using an evidence-based model called A-CRA, a skills-based treatment that addresses behavioral health needs, family dynamics and community engagement. They help youth served reduce use of substances from a harm reduction perspective, increase connections to community resources and improve quality of his or her support network. They will complete all necessary outcome tools and collect data as needed to ensure fidelity to the model and increase probability of positive outcomes for the youth and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Prevention Education: facilitates prevention education activities via classroom presentations, assemblies, campaigns, etc. that address youth substance abuse, suicide prevention and other topics related to mental health.

  • Administration: attendance at minimum weekly 1:1 supervision and other supervision/meetings as requested; checks agency email daily and is available by phone during the day; keeps essential program tracking logs up to date; submits required paperwork as scheduled and requested; regularly submits and tracks outcomes measurements; conducts satisfaction surveys as needed.

  • Public Representation: serves as a representative for the division, program, and stakeholders through the following venues as assigned; community and school health fairs, focus groups, coalitions, and other special initiatives to increase advocacy for attention to youth substance abuse and/or promote the program and stakeholders.

  • Provide therapy to families in office setting using telehealth, or if barriers to either of those modalities are present provide outreach to a family's home or another community location, utilizing the ACRA model of treatment for substance abuse. Maintains fidelity to the model to ensure best practice and maximize positive outcomes for the youth and family.

  • Support families in identifying clear treatment goals and work to carry out interventions.

  • Collaborate, as appropriate, with other providers and natural supports of families served.

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation to reflect services provided.

  • Person carries a caseload as assigned.

  • Build and adjust schedule as necessary to meet the needs of persons served. Afternoon/evening hours are required.

  • Must uphold and practice a strength-based, trauma-informed perspective when working with youth and families

  • Must undergo and complete ACRA certification within 90 days from hire


Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field; must be one of the following; LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Psychologist, Master's Level Counselor.

Schedule:  Full-time, 32 hours per week.

 

 

Pay Range:

$55,194.40 USD - $76,294.40 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
