Job Description:

The Cloud & Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading ProPetro’s enterprise cloud and infrastructure operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems. This role provides strategic direction and oversight for cloud platforms, infrastructure services, and collaboration technologies, while managing a team responsible for day-to-day administration and support. The position partners with IT leadership, security, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with organizational goals and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise cloud and infrastructure operations, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments

• Provide leadership and direction to the Infrastructure & Cloud Supervisor and supporting team members

• Define and implement infrastructure strategy, standards, and best practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance

• Oversee administration of enterprise systems, including identity and access management, tenant configuration, and collaboration platforms

• Ensure security and governance controls are implemented and maintained across cloud and infrastructure environments

• Partner with IT Security to mitigate risks, enforce compliance requirements, and support audits and remediation efforts

• Oversee data protection and governance initiatives, including DLP, access controls, and system-level security configurations

• Manage vendor relationships and cloud service providers to ensure service quality and cost optimization

• Support and align infrastructure efforts with IT PMO initiatives, including system implementations and technology rollouts

• Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure processes, automation, and operational efficiency

• Monitor system performance, uptime, and capacity; proactively address risks and performance issues

• Provide reporting and updates to IT leadership on infrastructure health, risks, and strategic initiatives

• Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and system resilience efforts

• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud administration, or systems engineering

• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or complex IT environments

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (cloud infrastructure, networking, identity), Microsoft 365 tenant administration (Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange)

• Experience with infrastructure security, governance, and compliance practices

• Strong understanding of identity and access management, cloud architecture, and enterprise IT systems

• Experience managing vendors, cloud services, and enterprise platforms

• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make strategic decisions

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
