Sitecore is looking for skilled Solr/Java expert who will be responsible for the provisioning, management, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of Solr search instances used in the Sitecore Managed Cloud Platform.

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

• Understanding of Java JVM, JDK/JRE
• Ability to interpret java heap dumps and thread dumps
• Linux system administration experience
• Outstanding problem solving and logical thinking skills
• Great communication skills in English

Experience in the following would be a plus:

• Previous experience with Apache Solr
• Cloud experience – ideally Microsoft Azure
• Experience in troubleshooting software performance & scalability issues
• Experience working with technologies such as Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with Windows system administration
