Job Description - Cloud Partner Sales Manager

Coder is an AI software development company leading the future of autonomous coding. We empower teams to build software faster, more securely, and at scale through the collaboration of AI coding agents and human developers. Our mission is to make agentic AI a safe, trusted, and integral part of every software development lifecycle.

We are looking for a Cloud Partner Sales Manager to cultivate and grow our relationships with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your technical knowledge and relationship skills to build and grow strong partnerships for Coder.

What you’ll do here

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan and go-to-market strategy that drives revenue for both our cloud partners and Coder

  • Cultivate and manage relationships across key partner functional areas (leadership, sales, marketing, product/engineering, etc.)

  • Lead and facilitate QBRs, joint marketing engagements, sales trainings, and other activities to drive partner engagement

  • Maintain deal registrations and records in partner marketplaces and portals

  • Act as the key liaison for partner sales and pre-sales teams to enable us to win new joint customers and expand on current opportunities

What we’re looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales

  • 2-3 years of experience at AWS or GCP in partner development/sales OR 2-3 years experience managing cloud partnerships for a Series B+ startup

  • You possess a quantifiable record of success in business development, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed objectives and the ability to generate new business through partnerships

  • Deep understanding of complex sales processes, build consensus and be adept at developing relationships at multiple levels

  • Strong work ethic and has moved fast and been successful in a startup environment

  • You are coachable, and can also coach members of the team

  • Willingness to go outside the bounds of their job description and comfort zone

  • You are constantly looking for ways to add value to Coder

  • Frontend: Typescript, React, Vite

  • IDE Extensions: Typescript, Kotlin

  • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana

  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions

  • General: GitHub, Slack, Discord, Notion

  • Domain expertise within Agentic Coding, DevSecOps, Developer Tooling, Platform Engineering, and/or AI/ML ops ecosystems

  • A track record at both startup and mid-to-large software providers

Interview Process
