Clutch Lead Operator - Night Shift

In this function you will : Assemble clutch components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from specification sheets, drawings, and work instructions. Be able to work safely around automation including fully automated & collaborative automation cells. Direct and train assemblers in your assigned area Assist your supervisor and other functional leaders with Tier meetings, Engineering Trials, Continuous Improvement events, and other activities as required Be an expert on all assembly stations in your assigned area Plan assembly line flow to meet daily requirements including coordinating changeovers, supplying proper tools, and escalating issues. Perform minor and preventative maintenance in assigned workstations. Be diligent in watching for and reporting unusual conditions, safety issues or defective material, assisting Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance with identifying issues. Adhere to all safety and quality procedures and company policies and guidelines. Ensure that people in your assigned area complete their daily standard work tasks Work within quality and quantity standards. Work a reasonable amount of overtime, including weekends and holidays as scheduled. High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Prior experience assembling clutches or other automotive assemblies required Minimum of 1 year experience assembling clutches or other transmission components Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active - Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
