CM Lead (Director-level) - Transit Projects - San Fran Bay Area

Gryphon Oakwood are seeking a CM leader who has extensive experience managing construction projects and managing teams. This role will have leadership of 25 CM leaders and will be tasked with developing relationships with Caltrans, BART and VTA.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.
Driving is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of related experience
Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate problems clearly and simply to clients, leadership, and technical staff
Ability to balance various project and company responsibilities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and quality.
Professional Engineering licenses or ability to achieve one in 6 months.
Experience in business development, and strong existing relationships with transportation agencies in the Bay Area and Northern California including Caltrain, BART, CHSR, VTA, TJPA, and JPB.
Existing relationships within the transportation community in the Bay Area and Northern California, and active involvement in local professional organizations
Experience in Construction Management within Transportation in the Bay Area
Project work history that includes notable, applicable construction management experience on transportation projects within the region.
