Job Description - CMA


Opportunity: Full-time opportunity with a growing medical practice with locations across the CSRA and Statesboro.

This position provides detailed training and a comfortable work environment.

Who We Are:  For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages across the CSRA and Statesboro. With 5 offices, 19 physicians, and a variety of services Augusta ENT PC strives to help everyone feel their very best.

Duties (summary): Provide support for preventive allergy care through allergy counseling and treatment, interact with physicians and patients in person or phone, take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respirations, pulse, ox, and temperature), perform spirometry test, immunotherapy injections, and enter information into the Allergy EMR, document in patient medical record (procedures performed, patients' significant conditions and/or reactions). Support the Radiology team in conducting CT procedures and provide staff physicians with diagnostic images for review. Assist the clinic team with office flow as needed. 

Escort patients back to exam rooms, obtain vitals, record history and medication in chart, assess/document their HPI. Ensure all clinic, allergy, and CT areas are cleaned and stocked.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Communication skills to converse clearly with patients in person

· Ability to read and comprehend results and orders

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

· Punctual and dependable

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and sit

· Prior experience working in a clinical setting (recommended)

· CMA
