CMA (1-FT or 1-PT) Rheumatology | South Ames | 2026-158

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA for its Rheumatology Department. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: working in collaboration with physicians and our team of nurses in a fast-paced Rheumatology practice, rooming patients, taking vitals, giving injections,  basic nursing skills and assessments, daily opening and closing duties with the clinic.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants


• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Certification/License

• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA


• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers. 

Days: Monday - Friday

Part - time: 2-3 days per week | Full-time: 4.5 days per week 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours:Part - time: 2-3 days per week | Full-time: 4.5 days per week 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience

• One year experience in hospital or clinic preferred. 

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
