CMA - Certified Medical Assistant

Cedar Park Med is hiring Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) in Philadelphia, PA.

We’re looking for dedicated CMAs to provide medical support in a secure correctional facility. This is a great opportunity to use your skills in a meaningful way while working in a structured, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Assist in patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.

  
  


• 
  

  Work with nursing staff to provide daily medical support to inmates.

  
  


• 
  

  Escort inmates to medical appointments and maintain accurate records.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure infection control and cleanliness in the facility.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform physical tasks, including lifting and repositioning as needed.

Requirements:

• 
  

  Must have attended a school to be a Medical Assistant and possess a diploma from that school. CMA certification can also be accepted.

  
  


• 
  

  Current BLS certification (required).

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 1 year of experience as a CMA; correctional or psychiatric facility experience preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and ability to work safely in a correctional setting.

  
  


• 
  

  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
