CMA - Certified Medication Aide

Cedar Park Med is hiring skilled and reliable Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to support correctional healthcare teams in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Administer medications to inmates as prescribed, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

  
  


• 
  

  Support daily living needs and provide basic patient care with compassion and professionalism.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform routine security checks and assist in maintaining a safe and compliant environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Escort and transport inmates for medical procedures or appointments within the facility.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with nursing and correctional teams, adhering to facility policies and protocols.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain cleanliness and infection control in assigned areas.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, repositioning, and emergency assistance when needed.

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Active CNA and CMA certifications in Pennsylvania (required).

  
  


• 
  

  Current BLS certification (required).

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 1 year of experience as a CMA or CNA; correctional or psychiatric facility experience preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and ability to work safely in a correctional setting.

  
  


• 
  

  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
