Job Details:
Description
We are seeking Certified Medication Aides (Experience Coordinator-MedTech) that have old-fashioned manners, a charming smile, and a servant's heart.
Job Summary:
The duties of an Experience Coordinator-MED involve not only assisting with medication but also building relationships and understanding our residents; their history, what motivates them, and what gives them purpose. As well as, assisting them with all activities that are essential to their daily lives.

You will need strong communication skills, and a strong desire to build meaningful relationships with our residents, their families, and your teammates. Likewise, you will need to be an adaptable and driven person who strives to execute flawlessly on all initiatives and tasks you are presented with!

The Certified Medication Aide provides routine care in a manner conducive to the comfort and safety of residents by federal, state, and local regulations and within the established policies and procedures of the Community; and is delegated the responsibility of carrying out the assigned duties by the Health and Wellness Director, Executive Director or other assigned supervisory personnel to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Verify the identification of a resident to assure appropriate care is being provided to the correct patient.
  • Recognize and respond to the needs of residents and team members.
  • Document changes in the resident's condition as soon as possible.
  • Report resident's intake on meal percentage sheet.
  • Document accidents and incidents when they occur.
  • Assist with resident move-ins, transferring, and moving out.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are handled by Community policies and procedures as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Assist with resident ADLs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to identify and resolves problems promptly.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional residents, family members, and team member issues.
  • Ability to resolve conflict without blaming.
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens carefully and gets clarification.
  • Responds well to questions.
  • Literate in Word and Excel, as well as in basic (Windows) environments and downloading reports.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • At least six months of experience working in Assisted Living Communities, Nursing homes, and Memory care. Community, Hospital, Home health agency, or another Healthcare facility.
  • Georgia Certified Medication Aide.
