Position Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Lincoln Center-Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, performing point of care testing, immunization and other injections, assisting in a fast paced clinical setting, and cross-train to assist with maintaining reception desk activities including but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and assisting with online booking.

Education

• Graduate of accredited program for Medical Assistants


• Graduate of accredited school of nursing 

Certification/License

• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT).


• Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license


• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days: Monday - Friday. Every other weekend and rotating holidays. 

Hours: M-F 8:45 AM - 7:00 PM.  Sat & Sun 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM.  Holidays 8:45AM - 3:00 PM

$2.50/per hour pay differential if you work Saturday and/or Sunday.  If a holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday for details.
