CMA/LPN (PT/Partial-PT) | Express Care | Ames -Lincoln Center | 2026-186

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Express Care clinic in Ames (Lincoln Center) office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, performing point of care testing, immunization and other injections, assisting in a fast paced clinical setting.

Education

• Graduate of accredited program for Medical Assistants


• Graduate of accredited school of nursing 

Certification/License

• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), ANHP, NCCT, NHA. 


• Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license


• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days: Monday - Friday, including rotating weekends 

Hours: PT- 28 hours a week. PPT - 10 hours a week

Experience

• Clinic or hospital experience preferred.

$2.50 per hour pay differential if you work Saturday and/or Sunday.  If a holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, please ask for details. 

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
