Role:
- As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you may be tasked with helping patients with personal hygiene, safety assistance, meal prep, range of motion, and other responsibilities.
- To excel in this role, you should have an interest in health care and keep the patient's needs as your top priority.
- As a Solantra employee, you will be responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, by relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
What You’ll Do:
- The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of the nursing assistant's responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor.
- Assist residents with care, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
- Obtain patient vitals.
- Ensure call lights are within reach of residents and answer call lights promptly.
- Report all changes in resident conditions to the supervisor as soon as possible.
- Assures that residents are positioned appropriately for meals, serves meal trays, and assists with feeding as needed per individual care plan.
- Completes all required documentation before the end of the shift.
