Job Description - CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

About the Role:

Join Abundant Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients. We're looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff.

Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.

Help with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Participate in training and continuing education programs to enhance skills.

Requirements:

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania.

Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Compassionate and patient-centered demeanor.

Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Must pass background checks and drug screening.
