CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - Addiction Treatment Center

Our current focus is on hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for addiction treatment centers, where you will play a critical role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

As a CNA in our Addiction Treatment Center, you will provide care and assistance to patients struggling with substance use disorders. Your empathetic approach and understanding will help create a safe and supportive environment for individuals undergoing treatment. If you are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of patients and helping them achieve recovery, we would love to have you on our team. The main duties of the CNA is to monitor vital signs, scan documents into computer, and assist the nurse when needed. All patients are abled-body and can do everything for themselves.

Hourly Rate: $22/hr.

Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday

Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Thursday via Direct Deposit

Shifts: 7am-7:30pm & 7pm-7:30am (12-hour shifts)

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs.
• Monitor and document patients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their recovery process.
• Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Engage with patients in therapeutic activities and support group sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills in addiction recovery care.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CNA training program is required.
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Experience working in addiction treatment or mental health services is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
