Bryn Mawr Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), on the North Side of Chicago, IL, has Immediate Openings for CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our team.

The full-time position are either:

4:00p-12a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Friday, Saturday or Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

The part-time position Is: 4p-12a Saturday and Sunday total of 15 hours every 2 weeks

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Pay Rate of $19.50 per hour *This is a Union position, so Union dues are required* if a CNA

Bryn Mawr Care is a 24/7 crisis intervention, assessment and admission service, providing specialized individual residential care for adults with psychiatric disorders. CNA will work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to those who live in the facility.

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions, as well as assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Other related duties as assigned

We Will Consider Candidates Who Have the Following Qualifications:

MUST BE A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT AND . . .

• 21 years of age or older
• Must be certified in the State of Illinois with no waivers
• High School diploma or GED
• Basic Computer Skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
