CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - FT 2nd shift & EOW Weekend 2nd

Bryn Mawr Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), on the North Side of Chicago, IL, has an  Immediate Opening for a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our team.

This is a  Full-Time, 2nd Shift position (4p-12a), with the Following Schedule:

Week One:   Mon,Tue,Thu,Fri,Sat,Sun 

Week Two:    Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri  

                                                     Every Other Weekend Required

Pay Rate of $19.50 per hour if a CNA, or $18.00 for a RSA position 

*This is a Union position, so Union dues are required*

Bryn Mawr Care is a 24/7 crisis intervention, assessment and admission service, providing specialized individual residential care for adults with psychiatric disorders. The CNA will work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to those who live in the facility.

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions, as well as assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Other related duties as assigned

MUST BE A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT AND . . .

• 21 years of age or older
• Must be certified in the State of Illinois with no waivers
• High School diploma or GED
• Basic Computer Skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
