Job Description - CNA / High-Acuity Patient (Home Care)

NurseCore is seeking an experienced, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide care for a quadriplegic adult male at home with his family (North Las Vegas - just east of U.S. 95). The following shifts are available.

Fridays and Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
and Sundays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
AND/OR
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays:
Full shift: 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
or split shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM

What you’ll do:

Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene
Transferring and repositioning patient (includes use of assistive equipment)
Emptying/changing urine drainage bag
Light housekeeping and tidying up
Running occasional errands
Hanging out and providing relaxed, friendly companionship

What it takes:

Drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid CNA licensure in the State of Nevada
Current CPR certification in compliance with the American Heart Association
1+ years of CNA/HHA work experience
Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
Successful completion of background check.

Salary range: $20 - $24 hour.
