CNA - LTC

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including inpatient and acute care environments. This role is vital in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care, assistance with daily activities, and emotional support during their recovery process.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Administer medications as prescribed while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide care for patients with infectious diseases and those requiring specialized dementia care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Support senior care initiatives by engaging with patients and promoting their well-being.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective patient care plans are implemented.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks systems for managing patient information and scheduling.

Years of Experience: 0.5 year(s)

Certifications:BLS, State licensed

Skills REQ: LTC Experience

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in medication administration is preferred.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar medical office systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of infectious disease care practices and dementia care techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients when necessary.

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
