CNA-Dietary Aide

PACE, a member of Empath Health is seeking a compassionate CNA-Dietary Aide to join our interdisciplinary PACE team in Bradenton, FL. In this role, the CNA-Dietary Aide will promote and follow all dietary policies and procedures to assist in menu planning, recipe revision and standardization, patient food selection and portion control.  Additionally, the CNA-Dietary Aide will provide services to meet the care needs of ADC participants as coordinated with the center manager and registered dietician.

What You’ll Do

• Follow all directions from the Dietitian and Center Manager


• Assist with participant support, including ADLs and supervision as needed


• Manage kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and emergency stock


• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe kitchen conditions (“Clean as You Go”)


• Order and restock kitchen and dining supplies as needed


• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and health standards


• Educate staff on diets and food consistencies as directed


• Independently manage daily kitchen operations

What You'll Need

• High School degree or Equivalent.


• Current CNA License for the State of Florida


• Previous experience as a kitchen aide and completed coursework in food preparation, nutrition or nutrition education helpful


• ServSafe Food Handler Certified, or gain certification within 6 months of employment


• Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
