Job Summary
We seek a patient, compassionate, and reliable care manager to join our team. In this role, you will enhance the quality of life of seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities by assisting them with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA)
- Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable with pets and a smoking environment (case by case)
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor toward clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Must have a clean criminal background check and drug screening
Requirements:
- PCA/CNA certificate
- Virginia driver's license (in good standing)
- Current Auto Insurance (Virginia’s minimum requirement)
- Two forms of identification
- CPR or BLS certification and First Aid training
- TB test results
