CNA's and Direct Care Hiring Event

Center for Human Development, (CHD), will be hosting a hiring event on Wednesday, 02/11/2026 from 10:00am-12:00pm.  We are looking for Direct Care and CNA staff to provide quality care and support to those served. Ideal candidates will have had previous experience working with individuals with complex mental illness in addition to compounding medical needs.

We are currently seeking candidates to fill a number of full-time and part-time openings at Heron House, an 18 bed Enhanced Medical Group Living Environment (EMGLE) program that is located in East Longmeadow, MA.

We currently have the following job openings for this program:

• Certified Nurses Aid (CNA)


• Direct Care Staff


• Senior Direct Care Staff

CNA and Direct Care rate is: $20.00/hr. with a $2.00/hr. differential for overnight shifts

Senior Direct Care staff rate is: $21.00/hr.

• One-year experience in a Behavioral Health setting, preferred.


• One-year experience working with the elderly, people with disabilities, behavioral challenges and cognitive disabilities, preferred.
