Our Lady of Mercy Life Center ( OLOM ), has a progressive team who embrace new ideas and technologies
such as Smart Cell Flooring aimed to reduce patient falls and an Artificial Sky to aid those in our Memory Care unit.
In our sub-acute unit, you can gain clinical experience to advance your nursing practice.

Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)
Location: Our Lady of Mercy - 2 Mercy Care Lane, Guilderland, NY 12084
Hours: Full Time and Part Time Shifts Available- Flexible Scheduling!

About the location: At Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, we provide both short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a supportive, resident focused environment on our Long-Term Care and Memory Care units. Guided by the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy, the center believes each person has the right to care that emphasizes dignity, respect and self-worth. We offer a variety of positions that range from full time to part time with shifts for days, evenings and nights.
                                                                        
Position summary: CNA's perform direct and indirect patient care tasks and assists with clerical and other support tasks to ensure quality patient care as well as efficient, effective operation of patient care units.


Requirements:
Must be able to read, write and speak English; High School Diploma or equivalent life-experience preferred.
Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with New York State.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.
Must be able to relay information concerning a resident's condition.
Must have patience, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
Must possess the ability to work professional with other staff, residents, family members, and outside agencies/visitors.

Pay Range:$17.55  - $22.93

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
