CNC & NC Machine Operator P&R - 2nd Shift

Eaton\u0027s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a CNC \u0026 NC Machine Operator P\u0026R - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm The hourly rate for this position is $20.87 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Set Up and operate NC and CNC machines and any conventional machines in the Casting Cells to perform a variety of turning, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, threading, forming, facing, milling, slotting, grooving, chamfering, serrating and deburring operations to produce a variety of explosion-proof parts of various materials \n * Operate machines include, but are not limited to, single spindle and multi-spindle drill presses and tappers; milling machines; parts washers; and deburring grinder \n * Refer to assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and machining blueprints to maintain tolerances. \n * Set controls and perform other manual data input functions as required, review operation data sheets, parts program, tape readouts and prints, and change collets and/or chucks; load and unload parts; load, unload and adjust tools as necessary \n * Check first piece using fixed or adjustable gauges; gauge periodically and visually inspect all parts for appearance and compliance to specifications; correct for any discrepancies.\n * Maintain a supply of materials to machines and remove finished work as necessary to establish a flow through the cells\n * Operate fork truck to facilitate own work or to move material around department as required\n * Maintain work area, machines and control units in a clean, neat and orderly condition and follow 5-S\u0027s principles\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic (Required) Qualifications: \n\n * A minimum of two (2) years\u2019 previous work experience in drill press set up and CNC operation.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
