CNC Laser Operator

APX Enclosures is a manufacturing company that fabricates aluminum and steel enclosures for a variety of industries. Our customers use our enclosures for traffic controls, communications, utilities, and other various market applications. We are a growing business and are looking for individuals who want to come along on the upward journey!

We are actively seeking someone to operate and run a CNC laser.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up the laser machine each day to run
• Sourcing material from the plant floor to fulfill job orders
• Working with the engineering and production teams to address any corrections or adjustments that need to happen with any laser programs
• Keeping all parts for each job order organized and accounted for before moving work orders ahead in the production line
• Deburring parts as needed
• Keeping a clean work area

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience
• Proficiency in CNC laser cutting and CNC programming
• Familiarity with GD&T and electrical discharge machining
• Experience operating a forklift and using a press brake machine
• Ability to read blueprints and utilize precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and quality inspection techniques
