Position: CNC Machine Maintenance Technician
Hours: 40 hours per week
Position Summary
Foxsemicon Technology, LLC is growing rapidly and is looking for experienced candidates for a Machine Maintenance Technician with hands-on expertise in CNC machines to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs on CNC equipment, primarily HAAS, Makino, and Matsuura machines, as well as supporting general facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC machines (HAAS, Makino, Matsuura) to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment alarms and minor mechanical/electrical issues.
• Coordinate with vendors or service providers for complex repairs when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service logs.
• Assist in facility maintenance tasks, including equipment moves, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support production needs to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent technical certification or vocational training in mechanical/electrical maintenance is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or facility technician roles, preferably in a CNC machining environment.
• Solid understanding of CNC machine operations and alarm codes, especially for HAAS, Makino, and Matsura.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience with CNC machine installation or calibration.
• Familiarity with safety programs and preventive maintenance software.
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
