CNC Machinist Operator - 2nd Shift

Schedule: 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM

WET is pushing the boundaries for manufacturing innovation. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator  to produce and fabricate parts and components used for research and development in our world class manufacturing facility.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Operator with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading materials, operating manual or CNC machines, monitoring production runs, unloading finished parts, checking for quality and supporting live Production activities. You will not be responsible for machine setup, but your experience will ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load raw materials into machines following established procedures and safety guidelines
• Operate manual or CNC machines to run production jobs according to specifications
• Monitor machine performance and production quality during operation, making minor adjustments as needed
• Unload and handle finished parts with care, ensuring they meet basic quality standards
• Perform basic inspections of parts and report any issues or inconsistencies to supervisors or quality control
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment
• Support team productivity by assisting colleagues and sharing best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating manual or CNC machines in a manufacturing or engineering setting
• Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and production schedules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
• Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) for simple inspections
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
