CNC Machine Shop Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the 2nd shift machine shop team
• Train, coach, and mentor CNC machinists and operators on best practices and safe machine operation
• Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines as needed
• Collaborate with Engineering and Process Supervisors to improve part manufacturability and optimize output
• Coordinate shift schedules, staffing, and production timelines to meet delivery goals
• Ensure quality standards and production efficiency are maintained
• Promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Assist with troubleshooting, machine issues, and process enhancements
• Support other production areas to help meet daily and weekly goals

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in CNC Machining or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience (FeatureCam preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and experience with CNC milling and lathe setup, and operation
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/technical drawings
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime as required
