CNC Machinist

HMC Gears is growing, and we are looking for qualified CNC Machinists like you! Our invaluable CNC Machinists work with the most advanced technology to cut chips for some of the largest gears in the world.

CNC Machinists earn $28 - $36/per hour after completing HMC Gears' CNC Machinist training.

Responsibilities for our CNC Machinists include, but are not limited to:

• Machine Setups


• Programming on Machine Tools by entering instructions


• Adjusting and reprogramming controls


• Maintaining specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements when performing drilling, grooving, and cutting, turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing


• Troubleshooting


• Preventative Maintenance

A prime CNC Machinist candidate for CNC Machining at HMC would be highly motivated, mechanically & mathematically inclined, and detail-oriented. 

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Higher in CNC Machining; or


• Five years of directly-related CNC machine work experience

CNC Machinist Candidates must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds, unassisted by equipment. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to commute to Princeton, IN.
