Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines for the production of high-precision parts. This position includes both production machining and tooling support while requiring a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. The CNC Machinist will work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, and other shop equipment).
• Program and model HAAS machines using Fusion-360 or similar software.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Select tools, fixtures, and materials; adjust setups for efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor machining processes, making offsets or corrections as required.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members on tooling and repair parts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Take ownership of assigned work area and operate with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training/apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience (production and tooling).
• Experience programming and modeling in Fusion-360 preferred; other CAM software considered.
• Strong understanding of machining practices, feeds, speeds, and tooling.
• Ability to read blueprints and work to tight tolerances.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset.
