Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and support 5-axis CNC machining centers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This CNC Machinist role is ideal for candidates with strong machining fundamentals, attention to detail, and experience working with complex parts. The CNC Machinist position works closely with engineering and quality teams to maintain production standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 5-axis CNC machines (setup and/or operation)

• Strong understanding of machining principles, feeds, speeds, and tooling

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and GD&T preferred

• Experience with aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing a plus

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated

Responsibilities

The CNC Machinist role includes the following duties:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machines

• Machines include Haas, Matsuura, Toyoda, and Grob

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and CAD/CAM data

• Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits as needed

• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to improve processes

• Follow all safety and quality procedures
