At In-Place Machining, we specialize in precision engineering and advanced manufacturing. We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our 2nd shift team and help us deliver excellence using cutting-edge technology.

Shift & Pay

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM)
• Schedule: 4-day workweek with 3-day weekends
• Pay: Competitive, with shift differential and built-in overtime

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (Haas vertical/horizontal, turning centers, and G&L boring bars)
• Program using G&M code and CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
• Select tooling and develop machining processes
• Maintain tight tolerances (±0.005")
• Perform inspections and document results
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 2–3years of CNC machining experience
• Proficient in G&M code programming
• Experience with CAM systems (Mastercam preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds for various materials
• Strong inspection and measurement skills

Education & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Journeyman or 2-year technical degree preferred
• Strong math skills (geometry, trigonometry)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
