CNC Machinist (Setup-capable)

LSI is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to run and set up CNC mills and/or lathes. This role is for someone who can work independently, perform setups with minimal assistance, and hold tolerances using strong inspection practices. No CAM programming required (minor at-the-machine edits may be needed).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts.  


• Tool changes, offsets, and first-piece verification.


• Inspect parts to print using precision measuring tools; work with Quality as needed.


• Troubleshoot and adjust processes to correct issues and maintain consistency.


• Routine machine maintenance and clean/safe work practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years CNC machining experience.


• Setup-capable with minimal assistance (tooling, offsets, basic fixturing/workholding).


• Blueprint reading and ability to hold tolerances; strong attention to detail.


• Able to work onsite in Ham Lake, MN; occasional overtime.
