CNC Machinist - with Growth Opportunities

Job Requirements:

• Setup and operate Haas 3 and 4 axis CNC vertical mills;
• Perform machining operations to produce high-quality components according to specifications;
• Perform adjustments, offsets, and setups on mills;
• Inspect work using blueprints and precision measuring tools;
• Perform 1st article and in process inspections;
• Run multiple machines at the same time as required;
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes;
• Assist in continuous improvement activities within the machine shop;
• Work independently and troubleshoot machine issues;
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean working environment;
• Maintain and clean equipment, tooling, and machinery;

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in Haas CNC machinery.
• Proficient in adjustments, offsets, and setups on Mills.
• Strong attention to detail .
• Programming or program editing skills are a plus.
• Lathe experience a plus.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Clean background check.
• Clean drug screen.
• Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Steel toe work shoes.
• Strong math skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support overtime requirements.
• Able to work and produce effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Most importantly, must be motivated, energetic, have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and be eager to learn.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift and do tasks that require reaching, bending, and carrying.
• Able to lift 35 pounds consistently without assistance, 45 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 50 per week
