CNC Maintenance Technician

Description

Union Special, LLC, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This is a full-time, hourly position that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. 

• Using hand and power tools to install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment 
• Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems 
• Performing regular maintenance checks, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, and checking fluid levels 
• Repairing CNC machinery, manual machines, and machining centers 
• Determining what maintenance is required and performing preventative maintenance (PM) on various types of machines 
• Tracking and documenting PM reports and downtime 
• Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures 

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• Programming skills: For CNC machinery operation  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blue prints 
• Organized and Detailed Oriented
• Problem-solving abilities: For diagnosing and rectifying machine malfunctions or deviations in product specifications 
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and be able to prioritize important work
• Ability to communicate any issues or problems to upper management while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completed
• Salary $22 - $25/hour
