Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Buffalo Pumps. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Inspecting, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and maintaining all machines, equipment, tools, and the facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual machines, CNC machinery, and other industrial equipment. 
• Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain manual machines, CNC Machinery, and other industrial equipment. 
• Perform general facilities maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all machines and equipment.
• Identify and replace parts as necessary. -
• In conjunction with the production team, support continuous improvement of PM instructions and schedules to prevent failures.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed.
• Knowledge of OEM CNC machine controllers (Okuma).
• Operates cranes and other material handling equipment to hold, position and move parts or machines.

Requirements

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 
• 5-10 years of machine repair experience
• Electrical training and experience required

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude with repair abilities.
• Knowledge and experience with electronics, electrical test equipment, and electrical troubleshooting.   
• Knowledge of CNC machine construction and operation.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with OEM service technicians and other subcontractors.
• Capable of identifying needed parts, obtaining quotes from suppliers, and submitting a PO requisition.

Working Hours:

1st shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm
