CNC Mill Toolmaker/Machinist/Programmer (MIN. 5 YRS EXPERIENCE REQ) - Urgent Hire

Description:

Alpha Tool & Mold is seeking 2-3 skilled and experienced CNC Toolmaker/Machinist/Programmers to join our team. Candidates need to demonstrate an ability to meet job requirements, problem solve, and work cooperatively with other team members. The ability ability to manually G-code program to produce parts to print is also desired. No production machinists.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

-          8 to 10 hour day

-          Monday to Friday

-          Overtime as needed

Requirements:

• Program, set up, and run 3 axis CNC Mills, run basic 5 axis is a plus.
• Read blueprints.
• Use Mastercam (preferred), Unigraphics (UG), or Bobcad as needed.
• Program jobs from 2D and 3D files.
• Generate inspection documentation for each program
• Collect all necessary tooling for project.
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints, and specifications.
• Interpret 2D and 3D files and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and programming errors
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and abilities

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances.
• Knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam (preferred), Unigraphics (UG), or Bobcad).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
