CNC Operator

Description

Gibtec Pistons is currently hiring for a CNC Operator

 Key responsibilities may include:

• Operating machinery: Running CNC machines, forging presses, grinding machines, or other equipment used to shape and finish piston components. 
• Quality control: Performing in-process inspections to ensure dimensions and tolerances meet specifications, utilizing measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. 
• Setup and adjustments: Setting up machines with the appropriate tooling and adjusting parameters to produce consistent quality pistons. 
• Material handling: Loading and unloading raw materials (aluminum billets) and finished pistons from machines. 
• Following work instructions: Adhering to detailed manufacturing procedures and quality standards. 

Requirements

 Required skills:

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic machining principles
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Attention to detail and strong quality consciousness
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
