As a CNC Operator, you’ll be the backbone of our machining process in Corvallis. We need someone who can handle the complexity of multi-axis machines and keep production tight.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
Precision Setup: Configure machines based on production specs and specific setup instructions.
Quality Control: Verify that all machined parts meet strict standards using precision measurement tools.
Technical Literacy: Read and interpret G&M codes directly from the machine controller.
Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
To keep our shop running at the level we expect, we’re looking for a professional who is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to get their hands dirty.
Core Competencies: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a collaborative mindset.
Technical Skills: * Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, and indicators).
Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents and machine shop terminology.
Willingness to strictly follow provided setup and production instructions.
Physical Demands: * Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are non-negotiable.
Preferred Experience
Proficiency with Mastercam software.
Familiarity with MillTurn operations on Mazak Integrex machines.
Working knowledge of Renishaw probing techniques.
