CNC Programmer - Lathes and Mills

CNC PROGRAMMER

Handling Systems and Conveyors is looking for a CNC Programmer to join our Machine shop. In this position, you will be programming CNC Lathes and Mills.

CNC Programmer:

Candidate needs a variety of skills and industry knowledge to ensure products are up to the manufacturing drawing standards, including:

• Experience with 3D CAD/CAM software


• Knowledge of G Codes


• Experience in a CNC machining lathes and mills in a manufacturing environment.


• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, calipers, micrometers.


• Good written and verbal communication skills


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills


• Necessary math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.


• Up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices


• Blueprint reading capabilities.


• Documentation and reporting skills


• Teamwork and collaboration


• Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.


• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
