CNC Programmer (Second Shift)

Description

Program, setup and operate CNC manufacturing equipment. 

Continuous process improvement, cycle time and scrap reduction. 

Manage and assist mfg. team members with setup and operation of CNC equipment.  

Knowledge of ERP system-(Epicor). 

Advanced maintenance and repair of CNC equipment. 

General housekeeping of manufacturing engineering and office space.  

Requirements

• New product and prototype manufacturing. 
• Train manufacturing team members in all aspects of machine operation, S/U and related duties. 
• Select and order applicable tooling, fixturing and supplies. 
• Work closely with development, manufacturing and quality engineers on design for manufacturing. 
• Program, setup and operate any of the following CNC machines 
• Citizen L20/L32 Swiss Lathe / Haas Vertical Machining Center Mitsubishi Wire EDM / SST   EDM Drilling Machine 
• Must be proficient in the use of all measuring equipment needed for device inspection Root cause analysis of component non-conformance, tool failure, process issues. 
• Responsible for preventative maintenance activities. 
• 10,000hrs (5yrs) as Advanced Manufacturing Technician III or equivalent 
• GED or high school equivalency 
• Advanced understanding of Manufacturing 
• Advanced computer skills, use of CAD/CAM system 
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time 
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20lbs. 
• Communication skills both written and verbal 
• Attention to detail 
• Other duties as assigned
