Job Description - CNC Programmer/Machinist


  •   Candidate must      be able to program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers and      self-inspect finished products to blueprint, for accuracy and defects.
  • Able to receive      a drawing/model, program tool paths for part, set up the part in      appropriate machine, run part.
  • Understands      appropriate tools for different part requirements
  • Familiarity with      aluminum is a plus.
  • Has good math      skills, understands complex instructions, how to make sure items are      designed and built to customer specifications.
  • Good problem-solving      skills
  • Attention to      detail
  • Self-motivated      but can take criticism and/or correction. 

Requirements

  

  • Software – Mater      Cam, SolidWorks, CamPlus.
  • Certificate or      Degree equivalent in Machine Tool Technology or proven equivalent related      experience.
  • Experience with      HAAS, Emmegi, and FANUC Controls a plus. 
  • Must have      minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC programming.
